The name IGNoto is many things, probably it’s the ancient Greek word Noton meaning “the back” and a reference to the fact that all the members of our band met on Instagram. Probably it’s a combination of the names of the metal band Ignea and Alva Noto, or perhaps there is some connection with the word Noto and the south. We’ll never know.
Spiced with several cultures, IGnoto brings a combination of fresh sounds and visuals. Submerged in digital environments and connected by code, the supergroup brings together artists from far corners of the Earth all the way from Colombia, Indonesia, Brazil, India and Argentina.
